The following components are assessed by visiting moderation:
Please complete and return visit arrangement forms to the address given on the forms by 14 January. These can be downloaded from our forms page.
Your allocated moderator will contact you to make arrangements for your moderation visit around the end of February.
Centres offering AS and A Level Physical Education (H155/03 and H555/04) and GCSE Physical Education (9-1) (J587/03) must film the following:
For all filmed evidence, you must make sure candidates can be clearly identified and linked to the assessment forms.
This can be achieved by the use of numbered bibs and a commentary or through accompanying documentation.
The full list of off-site activities is shown below. Everything on this list must be filmed. If there is an activity you cannot film, you may not complete that activity.
You must send a copy of this evidence to your moderator on request. If no filmed evidence is provided then a mark cannot be awarded to your student.
For AS and A Level PE, you need to keep filmed evidence of a sample of on-site activities. The moderator will let you know if they wish to see this.
Please keep at least six candidate performances, across at least two activities, encompassing a range of marks – ideally top, middle and lowest mark in each of the two activities.
You must film all candidates involved in moderation on the day of moderation.
All performances the moderator sees must be recorded as they happen.
Send a copy of the filmed evidence with the moderation day cover sheet to OCR, Entries and Results, 1 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB1 2EU (not the moderator) within ten working days of the moderation day.
This filmed evidence will be used (alongside film of any off-site activities) if a review of moderation is later requested.
If you do not return the filmed evidence, we cannot carry out a review of moderation.
This footage should not be placed in the public domain as it is confidential between OCR and the centre.
