Asset Languages tasks

OCR has exciting opportunities in assessing Asset Languages.

The Asset Languages assessment scheme is for language learners of all ages and abilities: from primary school through to further, higher and adult education.

This qualification is offered for a wide range of languages at a number of different levels. Further details of the Asset Languages qualification are available on the Asset Languages qualification page.

Assessment production and/or supervision

When opportunities become available in assessment production and supervision tasks they can be viewed on the Assessment production and supervision tasks page.

Item writing, proof reading and vetting

OCR has exciting opportunities to undertake Item Writing, Proof Reading and Vetting tasks for the following languages:

  • Arabic
  • French (Advanced) 
  • German (Proof reading)
  • Hindi
  • Spanish (Item Writing)
  • Swedish
  • Tamil

Specialist marking and moderating

OCR has exciting opportunities for the following languages:

  • Arabic

How to apply

  1. Complete the associated application form.
  2. Complete the Asset Languages supplementary information form (PDF, 114 KB).
  3. Save the application form and supplementary form onto your computer.
  4. Email your completed application form and supplementary form to assessor.recruitment@ocr.org.uk.
  5. Forward the reference request form (PDF, 386 KB) to two nominated referees for completion.

If you are currently under investigation by, or are awaiting an outcome of an investigation by the General Teaching Council, an employer, the police, or any other authority you should contact 01223 552 558 before making an application to OCR to become an assessor. If, as a result of an investigation by one of the above authorities you have a ruling against you, or are subject to an order, you must also contact OCR before making an application to OCR to become an assessor.
