Senior Assessors

Senior Assessors fulfil an important role in the assessment process. Their responsibilities include:

  • Setting and scrutinising question papers, mark schemes and internal assessment criteria.
  • Leading standardisation processes.
  • Preparing exemplar materials and guidance documents.
  • Providing guidance and support on matters of good practice in sector/subject areas.

How to apply

  1. Complete the Assessor application form (PDF version, 658 Kb) or Assessor application form (Word version, 308 Kb).
  2. Save the Assessor application form onto your computer using your name as the filename.
  3. If applicable complete the appropriate task ensuring that it is clearly labelled with your name.
  4. Save the task onto your computer using your name followed by 'task' as the filename.
  5. Email your completed application and task if applicable to SeniorRecruitment@ocr.org.uk.
  6. Forward the Reference request form (Word, 81 Kb) to your chosen referee.
