Introduction
Functional skills are practical skills in English, Maths and ICT that help learners gain the most out of work, education and everyday life.
We've been at the forefront of developing functional skills assessments. Since 2007, we've been successfully running our functional skills pilot, helping centres to make entries in all three subjects at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2.
2010 will see functional skills move from pilot to full implementation.

Become an OCR approved centre
If you do not currently deliver either our functional skills pilot or Key Skills qualifications and want to teach our functional skills qualifications from September 2010, you'll need to complete the simple approval form for vocational qualifications.
