OCR is prepared to discuss making more Welsh medium assessment available under certain conditions.

When deciding whether to make a Welsh assessment available, OCR Cymru will consider three things:

1. Is a Welsh alternative already available?
2. Is there evidence of a demand for the assessment in Welsh?
3. Is there a partner or partners that OCR could work with to make the Welsh medium assessment sustainable?

NVQs

OCR Cymru works with key stakeholders, including the regulators, to provide NVQs in Welsh. We are committed to supporting Welsh medium candidates for NVQ, and will provide Welsh medium assessments on request.
