What is Computer Based Assessment?
Computer Based Assessment (CBA) offers an alternative assessment option to local assessment and external moderation. Computers will mark the learners work that is submitted to us electronically. It allows learners to work on assignments in the normal way, but instead of the local assessor marking candidates print outs and sending them to an OCR Examiner Moderator the learners files are sent to OCR and assessed via a computer.

Register now and get your centre involved
To offer Level 1 CBA your centre has to be approved for the qualification and be registered to use OCR Interchange.
To offer Level 2 CBA your centre has to be approved for the qualification and complete the online CBA registration form. If you need assistance please call the Customer Contact Centre where staff will guide you through the registration process.
