Administrator help tool

The administrator help tool should be used by the centre administrator to ensure that the centre's computers are set-up correctly and meet the pre-requisites of the CLAiT Plus CBA testing systems.

The file can be extracted and run from you centre's network. It should be used to install the Authorware Web Player 7.0 (on every client computer), check that the Microsoft Word, Excel and Access applications can be launched and to check the correct file permissions have been set.

To use the administrator help tool you should access the Readme.txt file and follow the on screen instructions. You can refer to the Level 2 CBA guide for further information.

CLAiT Plus tutorial

To familiarise centre staff and candidates with CLAiT Plus CBA you we have created a CLAiT Plus tutorial.

The tutorial contains information on the Level 2 CBA test administration system and also contains practice tests for all five units offered in the Level 2 CBA format.

Please ensure that the Authorware Web Player 7.0 has been installed using the administrator help tool before launching the tutorial.

To use the tutorial save the zip file to your PC, unzip it and double click on the Start.exe file.

The tutorial is also available through the CLAiT Plus on-line administration system help section and on the CLAiT Plus support CD (C080 0705).

Using CBA

You can register for CLAiT Plus CBA access by completing the online form. To purchase entries you can choose to complete a CLAiT Entry Form (D600) from our Customer Contact Centre, or register electronically via Interchange.

Fees and invoices

CLAiT CBA fees are covered in the CLAiT entry fee there are no extra charges for choosing the CBA route. Please see the fees list for latest prices. There are no charges for re-sits.

Examination and administration dates

CLAiT CBA units can be taken at any time to suit the centre and learner.

Results

Results for CLAiT CBA tests are returned electronically to the centre within minutes.

Software

CLAiT Level 2 requires internet access and Macromedia software, which will be sent to you when you make your entries.
