iMedia e-portfolio

iMedia is OCR’s first e-portfolio only qualification. We’ve developed the iMedia e-portfolio in association with TAG Learning and it’s available for all levels and units. Your learners can submit a variety of file formats including word processed documents, spreadsheets, images, video and sound files allowing them to express themselves more creatively.

All of your learners work is uploaded into the iMedia e-portfolio, you mark the work in the e-portfolio and then the Examiner/Moderator, moderates in the e-portfolio.

Each file when uploaded is virus checked and stored safely and securely. All users have their own user name and password. Your learners can also have access to their iMedia e-portfolio – you decide.

Registering learners

Approved iMedia centres can request an iMedia NQF2 entry form, from the Customer Contact Centre. You will then receive your assignment materials from OCR and e-portfolio access details from TAG Learning.

To start delivering OCR’s iMedia qualification, you will need to get your centre approved. To do this you need to complete and return the appropriate approval form:

Examination and administration dates

iMedia e-portfolio units can be taken at any time to suit the centre and learner.

Results

Results are usually received within six to eight weeks of submitting the learner’s work to OCR.

Software

No software is required to use iMedia e-portfolio. However, Internet access is required and a minimum of Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or Mozilla 1.0 to view the e-portfolio site.
