The Customer Admin Support Team provides support, training and guidance for Exams Officers. To find out more about the training we can offer which will give you more confidence in administering OCR qualifications, or invite us to your network meetings, please email us at cast@ocr.org.uk.

I have worked in education since 1995, as an Exams Manager in a college, a Centre Support Officer with the National Assessment Agency (NAA) and an Exams Officer in a secondary school – so I know how challenging and rewarding it can be working in the exams office. I joined OCR as CAST Manager in 2007 and am always pleased to hear from you, so please feel free to get in touch for advice, support or training.

Before I joined OCR in September 2011, I was the Exams Officer at a large inner city secondary school for three years. Having this background means I have a good idea what's on the 'other side of the fence' and I'm sure that these different perspectives will prove beneficial in understanding the relationship between OCR and exams officers.

I've had a varied career, ranging from crash testing to exams. Since 2001, I've been supporting OCR centres, and have been a CAST Manager since 2007. If you're having any issues or need advice to help you manage our processes, I'm here to help – so please get in touch; I'd love to hear from you.

Although I only recently joined OCR, I have a strong background in customer support. I have worked for University of Cambridge International Examinations, OCR's sister organisation, for eight years, heading up their customer support department. This has given me a solid foundation in the issues that face exams officers, which I hope to build on in my new role.

My career has always had a customer service focus, from menswear to hotels and finally exams and qualifications. For the last 20 years I've enjoyed working for OCR and, since 2007, I've been supporting Exams Officers as a CAST Manager. Please get in touch if you need any support, and I'll be happy to help out.
We're always gathering feedback about how things work at OCR so that we can improve our processes for you, and we need your input to help us do this. If you have any comments or suggestions, please use the form below to submit them to the team.
