Interchange

OCR Interchange is a free, secure website for centres which offers a variety of services for Exams Officers and teachers. These range from the ability to carry out day-to-day administrative functions online quickly and efficiently, to accessing Active Results, OCR's results analysis portal.

Important notice - New Interchange design unveiled!

OCR is delighted to unveil its new-look secure website, Interchange - more user-friendly, clean, modern, intuitive, simple and easy to navigate.

Guided by the input of exams officers, the initial focus of the Interchange redesign has been on the menu and the entries area - allowing each stage of the exam cycle to be carried out quickly and easily.

Please take a minute to see details of all the new features before you log on.

Interchange is updated daily, so it is always the most accurate way to view any of your exam-related information, whether you want to make entries, view results or apply for post-results services.

The site supports every stage of the exam cycle – allowing you to make entries, view results, apply for post-results services and much more.

"Interchange makes it easy to access registration and achievement data 24 hours a day. Support for using Interchange by phone is excellent." – Sally Clark, Examinations and Assessment Manager at City of Bristol College

Registering for Interchange

In order to use Interchange, you just need to register your centre by returning the OCR Interchange Agreement (PDF, 706 Kb - updated 5 May 2009) document.

New users within a centre that is already registered should contact their Centre Administrator (usually the Exams Officer) – please note that there is no need to complete a new Interchange Agreement for each user.

If you are not sure whether your centre is registered to use Interchange or you cannot locate your Centre Administrator, please email cast@ocr.org.uk. If you have any other queries, please call our Customer Contact Centre on 01223 553998.

New functionality recently added to Interchange

  • MIRs online – You can now submit missing and incomplete results enquiries electronically, via the post-results pages.
  • Past papers from the most recent series available online – Papers from previous exam series are still available to download free of charge from the main OCR website.
  • Extended Access to Scripts service – Scripts and their marks are available electronically via OCR Interchange, rather than by post, to increase speed of service.
  • Active Results service – Results analysis service which will help teachers to review the performance of individual candidates or whole schools.
  • Functional Skills – You can now upload spreadsheets containing named entries and include your order number for invoicing. We will also send you confirmation that the file has been received.

We are continually looking to make enhancements to OCR Interchange. If you have any suggestions or would like to take part in a focus group, please email the Customer Admin Support Team.

Important notice

In light of these services, we would urge any centre which is not currently registered for Interchange to do so as soon as possible.
