Below are the answers to the frequently asked questions about results.

A. Your school or college is responsible for your exam results, therefore we are obliged to send all paperwork regarding your results directly to them. It is also beneficial for you to have help on hand from your teachers.

A. Yes, your examination paper can be re-marked. However, you can not apply for a re-mark yourself it has to go via your school or college to OCR. Please speak to your Examinations Officer if you want to pursue this. Please remember, when you request a re-mark the grade can go up, be confirmed or go down. A. The first thing you need to do is to take your 'Statement of Results' to your teacher. If you still think that there is something wrong with the result, then your school or college can apply to see your examination paper. You may then be eligible to either have your paper re-marked or re-sit the examination. Please remember, when you request a re-mark the grade can go up, be confirmed or go down.

A. Your coursework is marked by your teacher so has to be checked and moderated by OCR to ensure the marking is consistent across all students taking the examinations. It is occasionally necessary to change the marks awarded by your teacher because they have been too strict or generous.

A. Your teacher can request a re-moderation from OCR, which will allow them to check that they agree with any adjustments OCR have made.

A. Your certificates for examinations taken in May and June are sent to schools and colleges at the end of October. January examination certificates are issued at the end of May. Please check with your Examinations Officer for the exact dates they will be available to you.

A. OCR do not reprint certificates, you can however request a certifying statement of results. This will confirm the results that have been awarded and is accepted by universities, colleges and employers as verification of results.

Your certificate is a valuable document for your future so you should try to keep it safe.

A. Once the results have been published by OCR and you are happy with your results, your coursework can be released to you. The work that was moderated by OCR will be returned to your school or college. Please check with your Examinations Officer for the exact dates your coursework can be returned to you.

A. Firstly you need to talk to your teacher. If it can't be found, please speak to your Examinations Officer who will be able to advise you on what other options you have.

A. We can rectify this problem very quickly. Please ask your Examinations Officer to contact us.

A. Yes, under the Access to Scripts arrangement it is possible for you to have your examination scripts returned. Please ask your Examinations Officer to contact us to arrange this.
