Specialised Diploma and the National Curriculum - QCA publish guidance on curriculum planning Wednesday 17 January

QCA has recently produced a document which outlines the final structure, standards and size of diplomas at all levels, including the size of components and the size of units in principal learning.

This document shows how Diplomas fit with the National Curriculum at KS4, and should be helpful for curriculum planning. Your centre will need access to approved awarding body specifications in order to progress with detailed planning. OCR specifications will be available on the OCR website, www.ocr.org.uk by September 2007.
