Exam board OCR is bringing eminent psychology professors and A Level teachers together to provide a unique insight into studies featured in its new Psychology A Level syllabus.

The events will be held at the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds on Wednesday 30 January and at the Victoria Casino in Marylebone, London, on Thursday 31 January, where course topics on gambling and tyranny will be discussed.

The events give teachers a rare chance to hear directly from the professors who conducted the research covered in the new A Level, which will be taught from September 2008. The professors will be talking about how research can be presented to students in the context of an A Level course, and providing teachers with a more personal insight into their findings and conclusions.
