With the closing date for entries passed, judging has now begun for the Progression category at this year's learndirect Achievement Awards, which OCR is proudly sponsoring.
The category is open to people who have undertaken learndirect learning and are now furthering their learning to pursue a new career or lifestyle.
Forming part of the Level 1 qualification, the unit allows candidates to develop their understanding of e-security uses and solutions.
Awards ceremonies will be taking place across the country in June to celebrate regional winners. A range of prizes are available and regional winners will walk away with a trophy, certificate and a chance to learn a brand new skill such as cordon bleu cooking or flying lessons. Regional winners will be put forward as finalists to a national awards ceremony in London and are in with the chance of winning an exciting 'experience day'. Winning businesses and learndirect centres of a national award will receive a £500 cash prize to revamp their learning facilities.
