We would like to congratulate all students who are celebrating their GCSE results today. It has been your hard work and commitment that has brought you this far and we wish you well in whatever future path you take.

We must not forget the teachers who have been involved, dedicating themselves to guiding you through your courses and helping you in achieving the best grades possible. And we would also like to express our immense gratitude to the exams officers and examiners for the invaluable contribution they have provided over the past year.

Highlights of OCR's GCSE exams series for June 2010 include:

  • 904,901 candidates entered exams with OCR.
  • 3,822,999 entries were made across all subjects, including coursework and exam papers.
  • Approximately 2,641,000* scripts were marked by examiners.
