OCR's expertise in vocational qualifications and learning programmes designed to help equip young people for success in life and work will be showcased at next week's Association of Colleges (AoC) Annual Conference in Birmingham from 19 to 21 November.
As well as information and advice on our vocational qualifications and support for learning programmes available at our stand (no. 37 in the main exhibition hall), OCR is presenting a seminar on 'Efficiencies in delivering learning programmes' at 2.30pm on Wednesday 20 November. We are also proud sponsors of the 'Innovation in FE' category of this year's Beacon Awards.
Charlotte Bosworth, OCR's Director of Skills and Employment, said: "AoC is a key opportunity to spread the word about OCR's approach and we look forward to sharing information about how we can help Colleges to give young people the skills and training needed to prepare and progress in their working lives. OCR staff will be on hand to discuss our pioneering work in developing Traineeships and the new support we can provide in areas such as employability and entrepreneurialism, crucial in helping to address the issue of youth unemployment in our country.
