For more than 750,000 candidates who took OCR GCSE units this summer, the wait for results is finally over.
The OCR GCSE results that students receive today range across 50 subjects, from Ancient History to Computing. Today’s results also include many from the new generation of GCSEs in Maths, English and ICT, which were launched in 2010.
Mark Dawe, OCR Chief Executive, said: “Good luck to the thousands of students who will be receiving their OCR GCSE exam results today. Exam success represents lots of hard work not just by candidates, but by schools and families. Our congratulations – and thanks – go to everyone involved.”
Other key OCR statistics from summer 2012 GCSE exams include:
- Over 753,000 students entered for GCSE units with OCR
- Over 1.9 million scripts marked by examiners
- Over 4 million individual entries, including coursework, across all subjects.
We've also processed over 75,000 requests for special consideration and modified over 6,000 question papers this summer to ensure accessibility.
