OCR has reviewed the fees for its extensive vocational qualification range. The new fees come into effect on the 1st August 2014.
As a not-for-profit organisation, OCR invests any surplus from fees in development of qualifications, support and other educational services. Since the launch of the Cambridge Technicals for example, OCR has continued to expand and enrich the range significantly.
All vocational qualifications are currently undergoing government-driven reform in assessment and delivery, involving considerable expansion of technology and the introduction of new assessment methods to meet performance table requirements from 2016. This is so that high-quality vocational qualifications can achieve the status they deserve.
While we have had to raise the cost of our qualifications by more than the rate of inflation for the first time in five years, we have kept the cost of our qualifications as keenly priced against major competitors as possible.
