As part of OCR's commitment to work with Higher Education to build the next generation of A Levels, OCR is on the road at HE institutions across the country this fortnight.
For the first time, OCR is conducting roadshows in Bristol, London, Leeds and Birmingham to gather as much feedback as possible from universities in the development of new A Levels. A team of OCR researchers is sharing the latest findings about the content and structure of future A Levels at these events, following earlier consultations with HE partners.
The roadshows are part of OCR's on-going dialogue with HE, and build on other platforms such as a termly HE Forum, and a range of other programmes and activities, which are also forging closer relationships with the sector. Over 140 representatives from Higher Education are involved in OCR's HE and subject-based forums.
Paul Steer, OCR's Partnerships Director, commented: "It is vital to involve HE in qualification development and we are identifying innovative ways to do this. OCR is uniquely placed, as part of Cambridge University, to work closely with this sector and to make sure that the next generation of A Levels are the best possible preparation for further study."
