A conference taking place at Leeds United Football Club on Thursday 24 May, supported by OCR, aims to help schools tackle how to become ‘outstanding’ in challenging circumstances.
As well as presentations from outstanding schools, breakout sessions will feature projects and ideas which encourage a rich and engaging curriculum.
The Leeds event, entitled Whose Curriculum is it Anyway?, is one of a series organised by Whole Education, which co-ordinates projects seeking to provide a broader and deeper education for all young people. The organisation brings together schools and a wide range of education partners that share this commitment. Whole Education’s partners work with more than 5000 schools, including more than three-quarters of all secondary schools.
Mark Dawe, OCR Chief Executive said: "OCR is delighted to back this Leeds conference as well as the other Whole Education events which have taken place around the country. We are keen to support initiatives that help young people to acquire the breadth of skills and knowledge that equip them for life, not just for exams."
