Confirming its reputation as a thought leader for KS4 science, OCR is pleased to announce a free-to-attend event for science education professionals - Key Stage 4 OCR Science Conference: exploring curriculum pathways and qualifications - for June 2010.
A high calibre line-up of guests - including 'Naked Scientist' Dr Chris Smith, Professor Jeff Forshaw, Simon Gulliver (horticulturist), Stephanie Sinclair (Wellcome Trust), and Wendy Sadler (science made simple) - will be speaking at the conferences to share their passion for science and stimulate new ideas to engage students and deliver science teaching in your centre.

The conference will run in prestigious venues in Manchester, Birmingham and London and will appeal to decision makers who need to make strategic choices about the provision of KS4 science qualifications now and in the near future.
For those unable to attend these events, two regional updates - in Newcastle and Bristol - will also be run. Details of these are available at the booking link below.
OCR will present the curriculum pathways for science and will discuss the options available including the new GCSE and the OCR Nationals in Science specifications. OCR science experts will be on hand to answer questions and help you make the right decisions for your students.
