For everyone going back to school this week, may we wish you a very good term. With new curriculums and qualifications coming your way, OCR is working hard to support you.
We are looking forward to sharing our new GCSEs and A Levels for first teaching in 2015 with you. Free printed copies of our accredited specifications, including sample assessment materials as well as guidance on resources and training, will be delivered to heads of departments in every school and college across the country throughout the first half of this term. All the draft 2015 specifications are available on the relevant subject pages of our website, where you will also find OCR’s new subject teams in place to support your teaching.
We will be rolling out training events across the country throughout this term to help teachers preparing to deliver new qualifications next year. Over 1600 teachers attended our Expo events on reformed qualifications this summer and we are looking forward to seeing many more this term. Whether you are looking for training events or resources, our CPD Hub offers the information you need in one place.
Our website is changing too. We have taken on board your feedback and made a number of changes as part of our ongoing programme of improvements. Our homepage will now work better for people using mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones. The design and layout has also been improved, so it’s easier for users to find what they need. When we invited people to test the new homepage in advance, over 80% said they preferred it. We hope you do too!
