A selection of past question papers for General Qualifications and Vocational Qualifications are available to download from the website.

General Qualifications

Regarding papers where OCR have applied for copyright clearance, they will remain available for up to two years, after which they will be removed. Certain papers have no copyright restrictions and will therefore be available indefinitely. These papers are available for download free of charge.

To help those centres that are taking our new GCSE Twenty First Century Science Suite and GCSE Gateway Science Suite, we have made the Jan 2007 papers available early. These were the first live examinations for these specifications and there is a limited amount of sample assessment material available.

Past papers for purchase

The January 2006 question papers are available to purchase until the end of February 2008 and the June 2006 papers are available to order until the end of August 2008.

Third party copyright restrictions

Many question papers contain material that is sourced from third-parties, such as photographs; extracts and diagrams from newspapers; books and magazines. Where this is the case, OCR endeavours to obtain full copyright clearance for their use. However, if this has not been possible some papers may not be available online or will have specific content removed.

Conditions for centres

Copyright restrictions apply to the use of the papers by centres - they may be downloaded and printed for internal purposes within centres for examination preparation and private study. Centres may also save electronic versions of past papers on an internal intranet site of internal virtual learning environment. Centres do not need to apply for copyright clearance to do this.

However, centres wishing to reproduce past papers (or any other OCR materials) onto an externally facing Internet site or wishing to publish them in hard copy externally, must apply for permission in writing from OCR.

Publishers must also apply in writing for permission to reproduce any OCR materials.
