This course provides students with the opportunity to further develop the skills of reading and writing at a level beyond GCSE. Students are encouraged to learn about the culture of Dutch speaking countries and to communicate effectively with people in these countries. At A2, students learn in depth about the literature and culture of these countries or communities.
The course is aimed at those who have already achieved GCSE Dutch grade C or equivalent and wish to go onto Higher Education or directly into employment. Both AS GCE and Advanced GCE in Dutch offer prospective employers evidence of a significant command of the language.
