Overview

This course is designed for students who wish to continue the study of Biology after having achieved GCSE Biology or equivalent. The course focuses on work-related contexts, many of which are taken from the caring and biomedical professions. This unique approach gives the subject relevance and interest. Throughout the course, students have the opportunity to devise and carry out investigations and analyse, evaluate and communicate their results.

The course complements and supports studies in many other subjects, including social studies, psychology, sports science and environmental science. There are also strong links with VCE science and VCE Health and Social Care.
