If you’re delivering GCSE English/ English Language resits this year, you may feel unsure of the different options available to you. In 2016-17, there are three specifications available to students who need to resit their exams: GCSE English J350, GCSE English Language J355 and GCSE (9-1) English Language J351. The chart below offers guidance on which specification would be best for you and your students, depending on your situation and context.
Over the next few weeks we’ll explore a number of different situations you might find yourself in.
The final entry deadline for the June 2017 exam series is 21 February 2017.
If you have any questions regarding resit opportunities in June 2017, or on any other aspect of our GCSE English and English Language qualifications, please get in touch at email@example.com.
What specification should you choose if... Your students have previously taken GCSE English or GCSE English Language with OCR and they have achieved good results in some units, but would like to improve on others.
