We are really pleased that our online Scheme of Work Builder is now online to support you with your planning of GCSE Spec A, GCSE Spec B, AS and A Level qualifications.
The SOW builder enables you to drag, drop and chop up the specification content for flexible planning. To complement this, we have uploaded a number of our newly formatted Online Delivery Guides where each activity has been mapped to a specific part of the specification. Within a topic/theme where there is a linked activity the activity column text in the SOW builder will be highlighted blue and you will be able to insert the activity into the SOW builder (if there is no associated activity the activity column will remain greyed out).
Within the SOW builder you can write your own planning in the notes section, so all of your planning is in one place. Once you have planned your SOW you can export this into a Word document. A 'Save and retrieve' function is currently being tested, which will enable you and your department to collectively review and add to any SOWs that you have created.
We have worked closely with current teachers to try and provide you with a range of flexible teaching and learning resources that can be adapted to suit the needs of your individual learners and complement your own planning. We are really keen to hear your feedback so if you use any of the activities with your students, please do let us know how you get on at either firstname.lastname@example.org or @OCR_Geography.
