      • OCR's position on Diplomas from 2013

        • Following Ofqual's recent announcement about the closure of the Diploma Aggregation Service (DAS) in 2013 we have taken the opportunity to review our position and from 2013 we will no longer offer the Diploma as a whole qualification. 

          However, Principal Learning will continue to be offered in a limited number of lines of learning, such as Engineering. 

          We will also continue to offer functional skills, Level 1 Foundation Project, Level 2 Higher Project and Level 3 Extended Project as standalone qualifications.

    • Our support for Diploma teaching and administration will continue throughout 2011/12.

      Principal Learning is popular in its own right, and feedback indicates that centres have found it to be a valuable qualification which advances students' skills. Please click on the links below for details of Principal Learning qualifications we offer.
