Entry Level Certificates are intended to be accessible and relevant. These qualifications are flexible in their structure so that they can be used in a variety of ways with many different types of learner.
Who might use Entry Level Certificates?
- Learners who may find it difficult to access GCSE qualifications
- Learners on taster courses
- Learners with learning difficulties
- Adult returners.
These qualifications are designed so that they can be co-taught with new GCSE (9-1) qualifications. We've specifically tried to ensure through our development process that these qualifications can be taught alongside GCSEs offered by any awarding body.
Find out about our Entry Level reform qualifications as we work towards a first teach date of September 2016.
