Total Qualification Time (TQT) includes all supervised or direct contact time (Guided Learning Hours/GLH) and an estimate of the number of hours a learner will reasonably spend studying not under immediate guidance or supervision.
TQT has now been assigned to the following qualifications:
This qualification is part of the Cambridge Nationals in Engineering suite. It is aimed at students who wish to study the processes involved in manufacturing new engineered products. It provides students with the knowledge and skills required to operate manufacturing tools and equipment used to make products in accordance with a design specification, and develops their understanding of the processes and systems required to transfer a design concept into a mass produced quality product. This qualification can be delivered on its own or in combination with any other qualifications from the Cambridge Nationals in Engineering suite and can be taught in a holistic or modular style.
All Cambridge Nationals in Engineering qualifications are included on the 2020 performance tables.
