We are introducing a new ‘near-pass’ unit grade for Level 3 Cambridge Technicals (2016) for students who narrowly miss a Pass on externally assessed units.
We've prepared a set of frequently asked questions to help you and your students understand what this means.
The Department for Education (DfE) has announced some students should be given another opportunity to resit external assessment(s) for Tech Level or Applied General qualifications.
Here's more information about what this decision will mean for OCR students.
For externally assessed units with a pre-release (see Section 7 of the centre handbook) the pre-release will be available via Interchange 8 weeks before the examination date.
The Centre Administrator role (usually your examinations officer) will be required to access the pre-release and it can be downloaded from the 'Resources and materials > Pre-release material' page.
