Overview

The OCR Diploma in Information Technology (IT) is available at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and allows students to apply their learning in business settings. To complete the Diploma, learners must have access to business environments; this not only brings the subject to life, but offers vital opportunities for students with practical skills to research and implement solutions to IT problems.

Course aim

The Diploma in Information Technology aims to:

  • Develop a broad understanding and knowledge of IT, and to teach a range of relevant skills
  • Encourage learners to deepen and extend their learning into specialist areas
  • Strengthen each learner's generic learning skills.
