Overview

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study both the practical and theoretical aspects of games. The course fosters enjoyment in games activities, whilst encouraging students to develop their knowledge, skills and an understanding of these particular activities, so that they can perform effectively and with increased physical competence and confidence.

The course provides a sound foundation for those students who may wish to enter certain vocational positions where knowledge of Physical Education may be seen as an advantage. Positions exist within the sport and leisure industry for such personnel. The course also allows students to study for an Advanced level qualification.
