Unit A952: Historical Source Investigation This paper is based on the coherent element of approximately 500 years of British history set out in the specification content and will be based around a historical issue taken from that content.	Written examination 1 hour 30 minutes	30%
Unit A953: History Around Us OR Modern World History Task 1 is set on History Around Us. Task 2 is set on the Modern World study.	Controlled assessment Controlled assessment 50 marks controlled assessment task set by OCR in no more than 2,000 words.	25%

The assessment objectives are designed to reflect the non-statutory guidelines for History A: Schools History Project.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate the following in the context of the content described:
