Learners will:

  • Listen for, identify and note main points and extract some details from spoken Persian of increasing length, speed and complexity
  • Demonstrate their understanding of Persian with a variety of non-verbal responses and some short answers in English.

Unit A822: Speaking

Using Persian, Learners will:

  • Communicate appropriate information within given role-play situations
  • Take part in and develop conversations, expressing and justifying opinions where appropriate.

Unit A823: Reading

Learners will:

  • Read, identify and note main points and extract some details from written texts in Persian of increasing length, speed and complexity
  • Demonstrate their understanding of Persian with a variety of non-verbal responses and some short answers in English.

Using Persian, Learners will:

  • Demonstrate their ability to communicate in writing on different topics
  • Express and justify points of view where appropriate
  • Use as wide a range of vocabulary and grammatical structures as possible.
