Overview

The OCR Level 2 NVQ in Driving Goods Vehicles is designed to provide those who already work as Goods Vehicle drivers (or those working towards their licence) with evidence of their driving ability.

Designed with the needs of the Goods Vehicle industry in mind, it allows candidates to demonstrate competence in:

• Pre-driving checks (including the use of tachographs) and monitoring the loading of goods
• Driving skills whilst driving a goods vehicle that is laden with their typical load
• Driving safely with acceptable wear and tear on the vehicle
• Unloading goods vehicles, coupling and uncoupling vehicles.
