GCSE Design and Technology (for first teaching in 2009) consists of the Innovator Suite and Product Design.
The Innovator Suite consists of six individual specifications with common aims, each focusing on specific materials. Product Design has no material bias and can be taken by all candidates in a Design and Technology department.
