OCR's GCSE Mathematics specifications follow the new two-tier assessment model stipulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) for first teaching in September 2006.

Further developments from QCA have meant the removal of the coursework element for teaching from September 2007 and first certification in 2009. OCR has developed specifications to reflect these changes and you can access these specifications through this website.

Additionally, in September 2007 the GCSE Maths with Functional Skills pilot will start as a continuation to the trial which has been running since September 2006. New GCSE Maths specifications incorporating Functional Skills will be available for first teaching in September 2010.
