This course is designed to meet the needs of lower attaining students who may have difficulty achieving a grade at GCSE. The course covers ten topics taken from the five Contexts for GCSE Modern Foreign Languages. For each of the topics there is a listening, speaking, reading and writing test. The qualification can be awarded at the end of a one or two year course of study. Students may progress to a GCSE qualification.
