This course is designed to meet the needs of students for whom GCSE Science is not appropriate. The practical task and performance descriptors have been developed to facilitate progression to OCR GCSE Twenty First Century Science and OCR GCSE Gateway Science suites. This allows the possibility of some students being entered as late as February of Year 11, for the Foundation Tier of an OCR GCSE Science course.
