BIS announcement
In response to the BIS announcement on the 15 February 2012 regarding operational end dates for Key and Basic Skills, OCR is currently planning its provision to continue to meet the needs of centres and learners. We will notify all centres about any changes to our qualifications as soon as possible.
Important notice
The pilot Functional Skills Entry Level assessments (Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, and Entry Level 3) expired on 31 August 2010. Any claims for certification using these materials must have been made by 31 August 2010.

Overview
The OCR Functional Skills qualifications in ICT at Entry level is suitable for both young people and mature learners who wish to be recognised for their achievement of a wide range of practical ICT skills for use in every day life. The qualification is also suitable for those preparing to progress to level 1 Functional Skills ICT qualifications.
This qualification can be used as a component for any Foundation Learning programme.
