GCSE changes from September 2012

The government has now confirmed that unitised GCSEs, will be replaced by linear assessment for all candidates starting a two-year course from September 2012. You can find out more about the changes here on the GCSE (from 2012) page.

From the January 2013 series, a small number of additional marks will be awarded to reflect the quality of Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG).
