Updated Evidence Checklists

Old style Evidence checklists can be used until 31 December 2011. The updated checklists below should be used immediately for all new unit submissions. Please note that some Evidence requirements have changed.

Overview

The new QCF ITQ has a broader range of units and can also include credit from other sector qualifications, making it possible for centres to develop programmes that will suit the needs of all types of learners.

OCR have built a versatile ITQ assessment model that offers a very wide range of assessment options, including the ability to use OCR CLAiT as 100% evidence towards QCF ITQ, the use of centre-set assignments, real work options, BBC Webwise and vendor units from Microsoft, Adobe and CompTIA.

ITQ barred unit combinations

Units with the same title at different levels cannot be combined in the same qualification. Please follow the link for details.

This qualification can be used as a component for any Foundation Learning programme.

Benefits

  • Centres can use CLAiT as 100% evidence towards iTQ, including the core unit.
  • Entries for QCF ITQ will be un-named or named, with the option of unit or full qualification entries.
  • No requirement for formal A and V unit certification, however, there will still be a need for centre Assessors and Internal Verifiers.
  • No NVQ 10 week rule will apply.
