The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competence of candidates in the workplace. It covers the knowledge, skills and competence required of a first line manager in the active leisure sector. It is aimed at learners who are already employed in one of these roles or similar and have the opportunities to demonstrate their competence in the workplace over time.
