Overview

Vocationally-Related Qualifications are designed to provide candidates with relevant skills and knowledge of their chosen subject. Those who gain Vocationally-Related Certificates can follow a pathway to employment or further study.

Vocationally-Related Certificates are assessed differently according to the approved specification, but may include practical assessments and/or OCR-set and marked assessments. They are offered across the National Qualifications Framework from Level 1 to Level 4.

Vocationally-Related Certificates enhance knowledge and build upon candidates' skills in preparation for a job.
