Overview

OCR Certificate/Diploma for IT Practitioners (iPRO) Level 1 from September 2006

This qualification is available as a Certificate and a Diploma. The qualification is unit based and has no defined pathway, allowing the candidate to explore both the Software Development and ICT systems support environment. This enables them to fully evaluate the industry and identify their own preferred progression pathway.

This qualification is suitable for:

• those candidates who are looking to enter the IT industry but may or may not have decided on their area of specialism
• those candidates who wish to gain an understanding and overview of the IT Practitioner environment.
