The last entry date published in the centre handbook has been extended to 31st August 2015. We will continue to inform centres of any change to this date.
The last entry date is the same as the operational end date in the Register of Regulated qualifications and we only use this when we intend to close entries to the qualification.
We will always provide you with advanced notice when we decide to set a last entry date and a last certification date.
The content of these qualifications will be subject to a review to ensure the qualification remains current and meets the needs of individuals and business.
It has been brought to OCRs attention that certain software packages do not pick up ‘in in’ when flagging for repeated words. This affects the original ‘bflies’ file for Unit 1 in the above assignments and therefore OCR has now amended the file available on Interchange to include a different duplicated word. All centres are recommended to use this new file. OCR will not disadvantage candidates for an error directly related to this software issue. OCR documentation may refer to CBA for level 2, and this is currently being updated.
The QCF ITQ has a broader range of units and can also include credit from other sector qualifications, making it possible for centres to develop programmes that will suit the needs of all types of learners. OCR have built a versatile ITQ assessment model that offers a very wide range of assessment options, including the ability to use OCR CLAiT as 100% evidence towards QCF ITQ, the use of centre-set assignments, real work options, BBC Webwise and vendor units from Microsoft, Adobe and CompTIA.
