Overview

The OCR Entry Level Award in Initial Text Processing (Entry 3) is part of the redesigned OCR Text Processing (Business Professional) suite.

This course is designed to develop and recognise students' ability to produce a variety of business documents to meet the requirements of the employer in a modern environment.

The qualification is aimed at the beginner typist/keyboard operator with sufficient skill and command of English to carry out the production of simple documents. It is an ideal introduction to the skills and knowledge required by text processing operators in preparation for employment.
