Overview

This qualification specification has been developed by OCR, in line with LLUK's revision of the Level 2 Certificate in Adult Learner Support. It is designed to develop the skills of those who are supporting learners and to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues in the areas of Literacy, Language, Numeracy and ICT.

Centres currently approved for any of the qualifications below will automatically receive centre approval for the new awards:

• 03430 OCR Level 3 Certificate for Adult Literacy Support
• 03431 OCR Level 3 Certificate for Adult Numeracy Support
• 03432 OCR Level 4 Certificate for Adult Literacy Subject Specialists
• 03433 OCR Level 4 Certificate for Adult Numeracy Subject Specialists

Centres not currently offering OCR Learning Support qualifications should apply for approval for the new awards in the usual way by submitting form VQ1A.
