Overview

The OCR Level 3 Certificate in Retail has been developed to accredit candidates' knowledge and understanding of a variety of non-routine retail functions and activities. It has been developed in consultation with industry to make it relevant and worthwhile and is endorsed by Skillsmart. The qualification meets the requirements for a Technical Certificate in Retail as part of an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Retail.

The qualification is aimed at those who have knowledge of retail practice and who wish to further extend this knowledge. It is suitable for those who are already employed in a retail role or in preparation for undertaking the NVQ at Level 3. This could be part of an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Retail.

It is also suitable for those who are studying in preparation for employment in job roles where they will be expected to work autonomously at a senior level in carrying out retail tasks and for those preparing to undertake the NVQ in Retail at Level 3.

The OCR Level 3 Certificate in Retail is a qualification accredited by QCA to the National Qualifications Framework.
